Financial support for creatives and artists living in Manchester.
On the 25th September 2024, we launched the Manchester Artist Bursary on behalf of Manchester Council. We have two opportunities to apply for this financial support.
This bursary is open to any resident in the borough of Manchester to support with accessing training, events or resources needed to develop their artistic or creative practice.
Artists and creatives working in all areas of the arts are welcome to apply — from actors and playwrights to painters and musicians. Whether you are starting out in a creative profession or see yourself as a non-professional creative the Manchester Artist Bursary is open to all.
Applicants are welcome to apply for a bursary of up to £100.
There will be two opportunities to apply, with Round 1 is now CLOSED and Round 2 opens on Thursday 5th December!
Applications will be assessed based on an eligibility scoring system as we want to have the broadest range of residents receiving this support. We’re hoping as many Manchester wards, ages, backgrounds and identities can be supported as possible.
